Sad News

Unfortunately, today we had to have Roy put to sleep. He will be missed very much at the yard.

Scottish Sports Horse Foal Grading

The two photos above are of Clarius' mum (Roxy's Granny) and this years foal!

Below are some of Clarius' youngstock, all sleeping after the foal grading!

Ellie & Roxy getting ready for the foal grading. (Below)

At the grading, the foals are awarded a separate score for their walk, trot, canter and conformation. The individual movement scores are added together to provide an overall score for movement. The score of the foal will dictate which premium they are awarded, the highest being first premium, then second premium, then third premium.
Ellie and Roxy travelled really well in the lorry, they munched on their hay the whole way to Fife and back! They performed really well in the ring and Roxy was awarded with a first premium, which we are absolutely delighted with!
