This morning we were visited by a very handsome 17.1hh, dapple grey, Irish Draft called Henry. Henry and his owners came to Chapelton to meet up with three members of the Strathclyde mounted police. Henry was asked to walk over tarpaulin, while flags were waved in front of him, sirens sounded, drums were played and amazingly nothing fazed him. Henry's owners had hoped that he would have been suitable for the mounted police. His nature was ideal but unfortunately his flat work needed to be more advanced. Henry is only 7 years old, so perhaps with a bit of schooling, he still might have a chance of a career in the mounted police!
